Overview

Flokicoin uses a decreasing block subsidy that halves on a fixed block interval and then transitions to a fixed tail emission. The goal is predictable issuance with long‑term, stable miner incentives. For live metrics, see Now.

Parameters

• Block interval: 1 minute
• Halving interval: 210,000 blocks
• Initial block reward: 1,000 FLC
• Tail emission (no hard cap): 21 FLC per block once the reward would fall below 21
• Coinbase maturity: 300 blocks (~5 hours)

Issuance Schedule

The initial block reward is 1,000 FLC and halves every 210,000 blocks (~5 months at 1‑minute blocks).

After the reward would drop below 21 FLC, the subsidy remains fixed at 21 FLC per block (tail emission). This avoids a fee‑only regime and provides a steady, predictable security budget.

Inflation After Tail Emission

• Annual issuance remains constant at 11,037,600 FLC (21 FLC × 525,600 blocks/year).
• As total supply grows, the annual inflation rate declines.
